Customer needed their three bath home winterized. I started by shutting off the pump breaker and water heater. I then opened the drain valves and the boiler drain on the pressure tank and drained the system. I then pumped the water out of the water heater until it was empty. I then proceeded to use a compression to blow any remaining water out of the house. After a sufficient amount of time I then pumped some diluted antifreeze into the water lines and then blew it throughout the pipes as well. I then filled every sink trap, toilet bowl/toilet trap, toilet tank, and tub trap with antifreeze to ensure no freezing in the drain. Everything is drained down and should be set for the winter. Estimate for water heater will be sent.
