Upon arrival, the homeowner reported issues with the tub spout not diverting properly to the shower, as well as a significant drop in water pressure throughout the home. When multiple fixtures were used simultaneously, water flow would stop entirely at one or more fixtures. After observing the issue, the mechanical room was inspected and it was noted that the pressure tank had been replaced in 2018 and the system contained an older sediment filter with no bypass installed. Based on the age and condition of the filter, along with the pressure symptoms, it was determined that the filter was restricting water flow and contributing to the pressure loss. Due to the condition and design of the existing filter housing, which lacked a bypass and showed signs of restriction, replacement was recommended. A new 4.5” x 10” filter housing with a 3-valve bypass system was advised to improve water pressure, simplify filter servicing, and increase overall system reliability. The well pump power was
