For this job, we replaced the customer-supplied tub waste and overflow trim along with the shower valve to restore proper function and appearance. To access the back of the shower, the washer and dryer were moved as needed. The existing tub waste trim and shower valve were removed and replaced with the customer-provided components, and all necessary plumbing connections were made. After installation, the system was tested, and our work was confirmed to be operating properly and leak free. During testing, a separate leak was identified in the drain pipe located beneath the tub where it enters the ground. Due to the location of the leak, a return visit will be required to fully diagnose the issue, determine the exact location, and outline the recommended steps moving forward.
