For this estimate, we replaced the existing 35-gallon Flex-Lite pressure tank with a 32-gallon skinny pressure tank due to internal bladder failure. After restoring water to the home, the existing tank was found to have only 18 PSI of air pressure; the system was drained and the tank was recharged and set to the proper pre-charge of 28 PSI to match system requirements, but it continued to malfunction and caused the well pump to short-cycle by rapidly turning on and off, confirming the tank was no longer serviceable. The failed pressure tank was removed and disposed of, the new 32-gallon skinny pressure tank was installed with all necessary plumbing connections completed, and the air charge was set correctly. Once installation was complete, the system was fully tested to verify proper operation, stable water pressure, and correct pump cycling.
