The existing 32-gallon pressure tank had failed and was no longer operating properly. We will replace it with a new Well-X-Trol pressure tank to restore reliable water pressure and improve overall system performance. During the previous visit, we confirmed the tank had completely failed: after draining the system, the bladder pressure measured 3 PSI (should be 38 PSI), and the tank was fully waterlogged. The tank pressure was temporarily increased to 28 PSI until replacement could be completed. 2/20 — Installation Visit We returned to install the new 32-gallon Well-X-Trol pressure tank, reusing the existing tank tee and assembly. Power to the system was shut off and the system was fully drained. The tank union was disconnected and the failed tank was removed; due to being completely waterlogged, the tank was plugged for transport to prevent water leakage inside the home.
