Arrived on site to investigate a squealing noise, verify a failed expansion tank and leaking circulator gaskets. The noise was coming from an ups battery backup alarm, advised customer of alarm and shut it off. Replaced the expansion tank and circulator gaskets. After restoring water to the system, discovered a failed automatic water fill valve. With customer approval, installed a new water fill valve with a backflow preventer. Opened the water supply, performed a leak check on the hydronic system, and verified proper operation of the heating system.
