Arrived onsite to evaluate a new installation. Upon arrival, I observed multiple issues that needed to be addressed. I discussed these findings with the customers, and they approved the work to pipe the relief valve to the floor and to diagnose the blinking Taco zone valve control. I tested all thermostats and verified they are operating properly. The blinking light is the result of a communication error caused by the current system wiring. The customers also requested that the chimney opening from the old boiler vent be capped. Additional deficiencies noted include the need for a mixing valve, a backflow preventer, rotation of the main circulator, and installation of a 4-inch sediment trap on the gas line. I will prepare an estimate for the above work. At this time, the system is providing heat and domestic hot water, but it is not heating the house effectively. Installing a mixing valve for the radiant zone will allow the high-temperature zone to be increased to 180°F, which will
