During this service visit, we installed the homeowner-supplied tub and shower faucet assembly. All domestic hot and cold water supply lines were connected to the new valve, and additional blocking was installed within the wall cavity to properly secure and stabilize the valve body. The valve was anchored to ensure long-term durability and to prevent movement behind the finished wall surface. As installation neared completion, it was identified that the shower trim plate would not fully cover the existing wall opening. To properly correct this issue and ensure full coverage of the wall penetration, the shower valve was repositioned. This adjustment resulted in a slight misalignment between the shower valve and the tub spout, waste, and overflow trim; however, the revised placement ensures the wall opening will be completely concealed by the trim plate once installed. All domestic water connections were disconnected and re-made following the valve relocation, and supply lines were check
