We arrived on site to evaluate the home’s water piping system for a full repipe and to determine the scope of work required. After inspecting the existing plumbing, it was determined that the galvanized water lines will need to be removed and replaced with new PEX piping to improve reliability and overall system performance. During a future scheduled visit, we will complete the repipe by cutting out and removing the existing galvanized water lines, installing new PEX water lines, replacing the failed expansion tank, and installing a new frost-free exterior hose bib. The customer was informed that the work will be completed at a later date, and all findings and planned repairs were discussed at the time of the visit.
