Upon arrival the customer had a cartridge for a kitchen sink, a customer supplied wide spread, and a softener that was not working well. I removed and disposed of the old Gerber cartridge and installed the new one. This fixed the existing drip and restored proper function of the faucet. The faucet was almost loose and not straight. I straightened the faucet and tightened the set screws to correct this. I then serviced the softener. I first field tested the raw and treated side. I removed the injector and screen and replaced them. I then adjusted the settings to accommodate for the high levels of hardness. I set the softener to 20 grains of hardness and a regen cycle of 10 days from 14.
