The customer reported that two boiler circulators were excessively noisy and requested evaluation and replacement. The customer turned on the affected zones so the circulators could be observed in operation. Both circulators were confirmed to be noisy, and one circulator showed signs of poor or no water circulation. With customer approval, both circulators were replaced. Upon removal, the original circulators showed significant rusting, and the system water appeared heavily discolored, indicating contamination within the system. After installation, all connections were checked and verified to be leak-free. Both zones were tested for proper operation, and adequate hot water return was confirmed. The system is operating properly at this time. It is recommended that the remaining three circulators be replaced in the spring, as they are beginning to show signs of noise and system contamination similar to the replaced units.
