The existing plumbing system was found to require several upgrades to improve overall function, reliability, and serviceability. We proposed installing a customer-supplied utility sink with new PEX water supply lines, replacing the elevated toilet flange, repiping the toilet water supply, and removing the existing PVC ball valve and rubber coupling located in the ceiling. These improvements will help ensure a secure, leak-free plumbing system and provide long-term reliability and ease of maintenance. Water was shut off to the home and the system was fully drained prior to work. The existing washer connection and copper toilet supply line were removed, along with the outdated ¾” water connection. A new tee was installed, and a new PEX water line was run to the toilet using a HoldRite bracket for proper support. PEX caps were installed to allow for drywall installation at a later time. New hot and cold PEX lines were also run to serve the utility sink, with all piping properly supported
