For this job, we responded to a report of no hot water at the faucets. Upon inspection, we found that the Taco leak detector was in the shut-off position and had not been turned back on. We manually overrode the valve and restored it to the open position, allowing water flow to resume. After resetting the system, hot water was present and the system was operating as it should. There was no visible water around the sensor at the time of service, so the cause of the shut-off could not be determined. At this time, the water temperature is up to normal operating range and functioning properly. We will be providing detailed estimates via email, including an estimate for further water heater diagnostics should the unit fail to heat properly in the future.
