Al was professessional and explained the problem. The cost to repair was $400-plus. Was that mostly labor? We asked about the cost of a new system and I believe that was $700-plus to include additional $400. We just thought if the system was so old, should we not consider replacing it.

Michele, I think there was some confusion. We replaced the torsion springs on your garage door and you inquired about a new opener which is a different component of your system. A new door is closer to $1,600.00. I hope that clears things up for you.

Alf (Alfred) has come out and serviced and fixed our doors for years. He always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is properly adjusted and lubricated. He is friendly and professional. I actually look forward to seeing him each year! He was able to respond (just for a normal service) in an hour today!
