Upon arrival, customer informed me that his son just purchased the house and had a couple of plumbing issues that he wanted to have looked at. The first thing that he wanted me to diagnose was a leaking shower valve. After diagnostic, I determined that the shower valve was old and compromised, and I recommended that the customer replaced the shower valve to avoid any leakages in the wall. Customer agreed. I advised customer that I would need to open the wall from the backside of the shower to access the pecks connections to re-pipe to the valve. After completion, I turned the valve on to test for leaks, and there were no leaks. Valve and trim kit fully installed. Customer also wanted me to take a look at his angle stops around the house. After inspecting all of the angle stops, I determine that they were two stops that needed to be replaced immediately. I wrote an estimate for both stops, which happened to be for two toilets.
