Reasonable, prompt and effective service quality

I have used John the Plumber for all my plumbing needs this last year. Most recently, Josh Mayberry came to diagnose and solve a slow leak problem underneath my kitchen sink. Josh was quick to identify the problem and solve it. In addition, he upgraded our shut off valves to facilitate access underneath the sink at a reasonable cost. We were very happy with the prompt and effective service provided.

Major leak after they left

I have never had an issue with my water heater. Two men came out to inspect yesterday part of the membership visit which we paid for. This morning we woke up and my water heater has leaked everywhere.

Upon arrival, customer advised me that his upstairs shower and toilet were backing up. After diagnosis we determine that the clog was in the branch arm to the waist stack. I advised customer that we would need to pull the toilet and run a snake. After pulling the toilet, we ran approximately 3 feet of K 45 snake to clear the stoppage. After stop is clear. We tested multiple times and no cloggage. We reseat the toilet, and customer satisfied.

Upon arrival, customers was looking to extend gas line for a grill on the patio. We’re looking about 9 foot in length, than 5 foot in length to a gas grill. Customer wants two options for estimates . One estimate is for John the Plumber to tunnel underneath the patio brick and tile . The 2nd estimate is where the customer will pre- cut the lay out to drop gas line. John the Plumber will need to provide a gas pressure regulator. Customer has to get with homeowner and said he’ll be in contact by the end of this week.

Customer is having an issue with new kitchen sink and trusted has inserted air switch for the disposal is leaking around the top of the granite down through dripping a good amount of water even if you put a garment it’s still gonna get access of water on top of the switch, so I highly recommend switching the soap dispenser with the air switch to eliminate as much water to go through the top of the switch. Spoke with Harry I trusted he said go ahead with the estimate at 4:25 swapped air trigger with soap dispenser. See pictures, silicone under each dispenser and air trigger to secure any holes going below customer to hold off for just a few hours for the silicone to dry before any water if there is a problem reach out to John the plumber . Checked Operation fully functional

Provide an estimate to customer to diagnose water heater at 450 because of the condition of the heater customer went ahead and declined estimate so provide a second estimate for a general diagnostic for 225 still declined and wanted it for 150. I declined the offer to do the job at that low price management management would not go down on price either customer understands.

Customer said he was smelling sewer gas from the bathroom where I installed a smart toilet. After diagnostic, I determined there was no break in the seal. Customer toilet performed flawlessly. I ran multiple test flushes on toilet and there was no water seepage. Caulking line was not compromised. I did not smell sewer gas during my visit. Customer said he slightly smells it from the bowl. Advised customer I can pull toilet to see if there is a compromise in the wax seal. We determined that customer would monitor the smell for little while longer. I advised customer to constantly check for any leak after flushing. If smell gets worse or persists, I advised customer would be left with no option but to pull the toilet.

Upon arrival customer informed me that he bought a smart toilet with neo lock flange that needs to be installed. I advised customer I would need to also charge for the bracketing. I removed old toilet and cleaned flange. Flange was in great shape. I secured the neo lock boot to the tile and then assembled the locking bolts to secure toilet. Once I seated the toilet into the gasket I locked the toilet down. Customer water supply is Uponor and had an isolated angle stop. The toilet supply was built into the stop so I advised customer I needed to change it to a 1/2 x 3/8. Once connected to supply, I tested toilet to make sure it flushed flawlessly. No drainage issues. Also tested water supply and no leaks. Customer tested toilet himself. Customer satisfied.
