Honest guys which is unusual these days! Appreciate the honesty!!
Carl was great, friendly, professional and clear on the options.
Carl Robinson was probably the friendliest and most professional estimator I have ever encountered. However the job estimate was far higher than I expected. Will still keep looking for a more reasonable price.
Kameron is great. Attention to detail and very knowledgeable.
I reviewed Gary's work yester- day following the completion of the job! He was given a five star rating, as well as a glow- ing written review
I was in a difficult situation with a garbage disposal that hadn’t work-ed for several months. Gary - & his apprentice, Marquis - arrived on time & installed the new “Insinker-ator” that I had purchased at Home Depot quickly-& efficiently! I found both men to be capable - & courte-ous beyond words! Gary even pro-vided me with an estimate for a more involved “pending project” that I will be calling this company BACK to do within a week or two, as it was too involved to begin today - on “Fri., the 13th!” With a trip scheduled for Mon, the 16th, I resolved to trust the larger, more involved project to Gary’s (& Mar-quis’) capable hands when I return!
I have used this company for four years and have always been very satisfied with their service

Last time I called for plumbing work, the technicians pulled the toilet and resealed it. Did not repair it. I paid $200ish dollars. This time I supplied a new toilet they spent the same amount of time. Did essentially the same work and it was $875. 😳
River did a great job, took the time to educate me along the way, took care to clean up and recommended ways to avoid future problems.
Upon arrival to the home, we met with homeowner Joseph who met us at the front door and showed us the front spigot that he mentioned was spinning internally. He also said he wanted to change the rest of the spigots around the house. They all were original to the house, and partially inside the block wall. I asked to check the main valve and water heater which we replaced recently for them. Moreover, I got Joseph some options to change out the exterior hose bibs which he agreed with. We advised him we will check for leaks prior to patching which we did. After chipping out then wall, we got what we needed and made the required repairs. We then tested for leaks after Joseph turned the water back on to the home. Hence, all is working accordingly at the moment. Met with the homeowner, who explained that he had recently received a high water bill. Upon entering the home for inspection, a running toilet was immediately heard. The homeowner informed us that he is hard of hearing and partially deaf. Inspection and Findings • Identified a running toilet as the source of potential water loss. • No other immediate signs of leaks were found during the preliminary walkthrough. Work Performed • Rebuilt the toilet using minor parts and adjustments. • After the rebuild, rechecked the system and confirmed that no leaks were present in the home. Additional Notes • Initially planned a full house evaluation; however, due to limited communication ability, the evaluation was concluded after the toilet repair. • No other recommendations at this time. Summary A minor toilet rebuild was completed to address the high water bill concern. No further issues were detected, and no additional repairs are recommended at this time. ⸻
John, the plumber installed a Moen chrome château shower trim set. As per videos and pictures taken, everything has been sealed and operational.
Upon entry into the house, I provided an estimate to customer over the phone to provide an install shower trim set on existing rough valve. I provided estimate for Mowen château, chrome but customer may not like this specific set and may decide to go with another style. I notated on the estimate that the price would change if this is a special order part. I tried to call customer two or three times from tablet with no answer.
Upon arrival customer advised me that he had a makeshift shower head that another plumber put on a while ago and it exploded. Other plumber decided to make the valve handles inoperable. The customer explained to me that he was not interested in doing any new parts or replacement because he will be remodeling soon. He simply wanted the water to stop coming out of the shower head so he can turn the water back on. Customer shut the water off with his own meter key prior to visit. As a realtor, customer frequently uses Docs Plumbing. This is customer first experience with John the Plumber. I explained that normally we recommended to replace the valve however I understand the issue and I will solve his problem. I told customer that we can send him an estimate for the shower valve when he decides to remodel. Customer was ok with that. Customer had tankless heater however was not able to access. I made a threaded 1/2” nipple and unthreaded the shower head. I used pipe dope and Teflon tape and
Upon arrival to the location, I met with Ricardo who showed me inside to the bathroom out in the back. He’s been at the place for ten years. There’s only one bathroom, and he stated the faucet lost pressure a few days ago. The toilet fills up he stated, just the faucet. He then showed me the main line coming into the unit which had multiple leaks for months. He had found a way to contain the leaks but you can still see it’s leaking slowly. I recommended him to definitely fix the line outside, he stated it would be the owners responsibility, he’s just renting. Moreover, I mentioned the leaks on the main line could be effecting the pressure but it would be best to change the faucet, as it’s an older style faucet. Aside from the issues with the faucet, the sink was also falling from the wall and I told him he should get that taking care off as well before the situation gets worse. Furthermore, I got Ricardo some options, he stated he’s not in a rush, and is leaning towards owner supplied
Upon arrival customer advised me his master bathroom sink was clogged. There are no other fixtures backing up. I properly removed ptrap and pop up drain to diagnose. Both were severely clogged. I recommended to customer that they replace both. Customer agreed. Both supply lines were in great condition. Ran drop test. Customer satisfied
Upon arrival to the location, nobody was home, I called the number on file and they mentioned Michael was aware of my visit. I didn’t find the meter to turn the water off so I called again, and was given Michael’s number. I got in contact with him, he also wasn’t aware of the meter box location. I called the city and they mentioned they will send someone out shortly. I started with the hose bibs which I had to break into the wall for each one. Before finishing the second bib, the city arrived, showed me the meter box and cut off the water. Furthermore, I finished the hose bibs, then repaired the main valve. I tested the main valve first, it held with no leaks then I opened the main valve to check for leaks at the hose bibs. No leaks were detected, so I began to patch each hose bib. Water is fully on to the home and all is working accordingly. Wants estimate to run line to dock. He wasn’t present to explained exactly the scope, so I told him well return to give that estimate. Upon in
Provide and install both emergency stop valves, one located in front of house and one located on left side of house. The main shut off on the left side of the house does not work at all in an emergency you will not be able to shut the water off. The main shut off in front of the house shut the water off, but is very corroded and oxidized and handle is rusted. All three hose bibs are either rusted at handle does not close properly due to valve stem being bad or corroded and oxidized.
Replacement of shower pan includes pre-pitching the floor. Shower demolition and shower curb must be done by others. John the plumber is not responsible for damaged tiles or surrounding work area or any tile installation. If cast iron pipes are present recommend replacing P-trap under the floor which is an additional charge. Includes permit, drain replacement, patching of concrete in drain area, and shower valve.
This is a call back from the work We did on replacing two valves and new P-trap. Customer stated there was still water in the bathroom floor. Upon further investigation, it is coming from the shower pan as per documented from pictures. John the plumber is not responsible. The customer just had shower put in two months ago from a contractor. This will be no charge. customer refused any additional estimates for vanity replacement, shower pan replacement, exterior main valve replacement.
Upon entry into the bathroom there was standing water in vanity base. Both water stop valves were leaking and ptrap was leaking. Replaced 2 water stop valves and 1) 1-1/4 ptrap. Customer advised me to leave towels on floor and he would dispose of them.
Customer has high water bill. Installed ball valve on 1” water service enters in rear. I shut ball valve off Isolating interior to exterior. Leak is inside of building onn cold.side. Shut stops off for both bath toilets. And shut off stop to compressor for dental work. Still small leak. Ther is nothing else above ground left to leak. Leak is in one of the cold loops. Will need to continue leak detection. I would start in rear where water service enters. I would expose cold manifold. Cutting and capping loops to locate loop with leak. Will return on Friday the 21st after 1:00 pm.
