Customer contacted us due to a concern about the lack of hot water at certain fixtures within the home. Upon arrival, I met with the homeowner to discuss the situation and provided an estimate for a diagnostic inspection to determine the root cause. The estimate was approved, and I proceeded with the diagnostic. During testing, I discovered that the kitchen faucet supply lines had been installed in reverse, which caused confusion regarding the proper operation of the faucet handle. This gave the impression that hot water was not available at the fixture. Once the handle direction was clarified, hot water was confirmed to be present. I then inspected all other fixtures throughout the home, each of which was receiving hot water correctly with no issues or inconsistencies noted. While onsite, the homeowner mentioned their intention to place the property on the market.
