Upon arrival, we were shown the existing toilet to be replaced and the new toilet to be installed. The customer approved the estimate, and we proceeded with the installation. After completion, we verified that all connections were secure and leak-free, and that the toilet was functioning properly, including flushing and filling as designed. At the conclusion of the job, the customer expressed dissatisfaction due to a misunderstanding about the scope of our services—specifically regarding in-depth instruction on the advanced features of the toilet model he selected. Our technician, Jason, offered to review the manufacturer’s remote and provide a basic walkthrough. However, the customer declined this and expressed frustration. We clarified that product usage training falls outside the scope of a standard installation.
