Customer reported active water dripping from dining room chandelier with visible wet spot on ceiling. Performed leak detection and inspection. Identified that master bathroom is located directly above the affected area. Cut access point in ceiling to inspect concealed piping. All visible PVC drain and supply lines for master bathroom (including shower, jetted tub, dual lavs, and toilet) were pressure-tested through fixture operation. No active leaks detected — all joints and fittings were water-tight. Discovered standing water near ceiling cavity that had entered the electrical box for chandelier. Based on customer’s input, cleaning personnel heavily soaked the master bath floor during routine cleaning, which is the likely source of the leak via floor penetration. Advised customer to allow area to fully dry and monitor for any signs of reoccurring moisture. No further plumbing issues found at this time. Customer is responsible for all drywall repair.
