Upon arrival customer had a leak in her main water supply, within 3’ from meter box. We excavated around pipe, determined that the roots surrounding pvc main line put pressure on piping to break at male adapter connected to meter valve. We made repair waited for set time of glue, and turned on meter valve. Tested for leaks, line has been repaired. Upon further inspection main valve to supply home is old style gate valve and needs to be updated to a 1/4 turn ball valve. Estimate provided Customer declined photos of water heater at this time.
