Upon arrival at the customer's residence, I knocked on the front door. The customer answered promptly and went inside briefly to put on her shoes. While she was doing that, I walked to the side of the house to inspect the water connections. I observed that the filtration system had been removed. When the customer came back outside, we walked over together, and I explained that while she currently has running water in the home, the filtration system has been deleted and she no longer has filtered water. The customer appeared confused and questioned the setup, specifically referencing the use of SharkBite fittings. I informed her that I would need to escalate the issue to management and provided an estimate of $750 to reconnect the filtration system and test the connection, which we originally warranted during a prior job.
