Upon arrival, customer informed me that one of the toilets that I previously did some work on suddenly started running nonstop again. I advised customer that I would do a diagnostic to determine whether it was something that we may have caused or if it was a new issue. After diagnostic, it was very clear and quickly determined that the only issue was that the new flapper chain got snagged on a piece from the flush valve, causing the flapper to stay open. All I did was release the chain and loop it back up so it wouldn’t hang and get caught on anything again. I tested the toilet multiple times to make sure there were no issues and it clearly solved the problem. Problem was very minor and under warranty. Customer also asked me after I advised her that her heater was old to send her an estimate for a new hot water heater.
