Customer Concern: Customer reported a leak under the kitchen sink. Upon arrival, I spoke with the homeowner, who also mentioned that the dishwasher was not operating correctly and might be contributing to the issue. Diagnostic Procedure: I provided an estimate to perform a minor leak investigation, which included: Uninstalling the dishwasher to access and inspect plumbing connections Testing the dishwasher operation Reinstalling the dishwasher after inspection Testing the kitchen faucet and supply valves Findings: After completing the inspection and testing, I determined that the leak was not coming from the dishwasher. The source of the leak was a failed seal on the top-mount kitchen sink. Water was leaking through the compromised seal and collecting inside the cabinet beneath the sink. This ongoing leak had begun to cause water damage to the apartment unit located below. Recommendation: I informed the customer that the best long-term solution would be to replace the kitchen sink and
