Customer called John the plumber out today because she has a leak in her downstairs bathroom. The downstairs bathroom is a half bathroom and customer service water damage on the baseboards along the toilet and under the staircase. When technician arrived, he checked the meter and saw that the meter was not spinning, and upon further investigation technicians saw that the bolts on the left side of the toilet that secures it to the flange, was loose and did not have a washer to properly secure the toilet. Technician also notice sewer flies around the toilet. Based on technicians experience, he knew that either the flange was broken or the toilet needed a new wax ring.
