Arrived on site, Homeowner stated all was well with regulars to normal system operation. However he has not turned on heat so far. Began inspection at the outdoor unit. I first noticed that the outdoor coils were looking a little dirty, so I made sure to go ahead and give the coils a good rinse to promote the efficiency and longevity of the system. I then tested start and run amps and found them to be within manufacture specifications. I then measured capacitance on the capacitor and the hard kit and found them both to be within range. Proceeding to the indoor unit I changed and dated the filter. I tested normal heat pump operation as well as the electric heat strips and found all to be working as intended. Blower motor amps were within range. Inspected evaporator coil and found it to be clean.At this point, I noticed that the Plenum and ducts were rather dusty and I also noticed some bacterial growth around the wiring harness on the blower motor.
