I reset the lockout and began to monitor the refrigerant pressures. Something was off and I went to the attic. I found the indoor blower motor not running. Mr smith said it was running this morning but he also mentioned that he saw flickering lights in the home when he attempted to turn the unit on this morning. I further diagnosed that the motor had failed. I also found the wire harness had visible corrosion on both the high and low voltage side. And there was a spot on the furnace control board that also had corrosion. The motor was getting power to it but I was unsure if this was an intermittent issue. I showed all my finding to Mr smith and we agreed that replacing all the compromised parts would be best. I picked up the parts and replaced them today. Once replaced I tested the unit.
