I retuned to our client home due to water dripping from secondary drain line. This time the float switch was not engaged but water was coming from the upstairs unit drain pan. Both primary drain lines are plumbed together and connect underneath the upstairs bathroom sink. I asked our client why he elected not to install a ball valve during the last visit and he said it’s because he plans on replacing the unit in the future. I highly recommended at least adding 1 but he declined. I proceeded to cut the primary drain line further down and was able to clear the clog and ensure it was draining properly. I also removed some residual water with my shop vacuum. Both units are cooling on departure.
