CUSTOMER STATED: They had a leak showing up in the master bedroom ceiling, and the previous technician stated it was coming from the shower basket strainer. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that there was a water damage spot located in the main level master bedroom closet, and directly above this closet is the upstairs guest bathroom shower. I found that prior to my arrival the h/o had taken apart the shower strainer cover plate, and one of the screw were missing. I also found that the hub drain strainer was very loose, and needed to be replaced. I let the h/o know that AHS warranty is not covering for any repairs on today’s visit. I presented options to have this done through service, and the h/o elected to not have any repairs done for today’s visit. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I would recommend replacing the stand alone shower hub drain strainer located in the upstairs guest bathroom with brand new strainer to help fix/prevent any future plumbing issues.
