I completed a single system heating maintenance. I replaced 1-20x20x1 filter. I checked the amp draw on the blower motor and heat strips. I checked temperature rise and checked safeties.I checked the capacitor and the amp draw on the outdoor unit. I checked refrigerant charge and tested defrost cycle. The system is currently heating at manufacturers specifications.
Clean drain. Change filter. Check pressure switch. Checked all electronic components. Checked amps on blower motor and draft induced motor. Clean flame sensor. Furnace performance as it should.
Replace 10kw heat strip kit with breaker. Heat strips have high cortisol and need to be replaced. Currently have heat strip kit bypassed. Installed new 10 KW heat strip, tested system operation in heat mode. Unit is functioning normally. I recorded.
Flipped breakers back in the on position and system is now working properly 20x20x1, pics uploaded. Customer stated that they just had the ducts cleaned by someone and they might have forgotten to turn on breakers when they finished. Sending invoice to email for payment
Performed heating maintenance on single system. Gas furnace. Filters are replaced by the customer. Inspected electrical connections and components of furnace. Cleaned flame sensor. Wiped down surfaces. Operated unit in heating mode to check operations. Heat exchangers are good. Furnace is operating properly.
Warranty- Started up gas furnace for main level system. Unit is working properly. 16x25x5, 16x20x5. Also taped and sealed return and supply ducts for the store package system. Pics uploaded
Install return grill. Fix hole in line set. Pressure checked. Vacuum units down to 500 µm. Started up unit. Unit performing as it should.
Arrived and diagnosed bad heat strip kit for air handler. High voltage was not going into the control board from the heat strip kit. I have the heat strip kit bypassed for now.
Warranty. Found some debris and high amounts of rust inside the coil drain pan. I cleared it out but I’m afraid the rust is too far gone on the coil. I’m afraid the drain pan has rusted out beyond any repairs due to age and refrigerant used. Ac and coil replacement is my recommendation. Customer will keep an eye on it to see if clearing the coil drain pan worked.
Arrived and discussed issue with customer. Diagnosed clogged drain lines for chapel units. I cleared drain lines and removed p trap from ac coil and added vent tees. Both systems are correctly draining.
Froze up at txv.Unit is R 22 unit.2006. Customer says unit freeze up all the time. When I arrive out bottom door of unit. Recommend replacement of unit.
Performed inspection on air handler in crawlspace, blew out drain and change 20 x 20 x 1 filter inside wall grill, checked blower amps, performed inspection on outdoor condensing unit, checked refrigerant and all electrical components, the system is clean and operating as it should at this time.
Completed a system inspection. System was very slightly low on subcool. Lineset is very short on this system,if only took a couple ounces to achieve factory subcool. This could easily be from not bleeding out the gauges and hoses after checking the charge. System is cooling at manufacturers specifications.

Inspected electrical connections and components both in the furnace and outdoor unit. Inspected thermostat operations. Inspected outdoor unit refrigerant level and performance. Washed outdoor condenser coil. System is operating properly at this time
