Warranty, new construction. Loud noises being produced by return grill over living room TV, is vibrating and making humming sound. Made adjustments to the grill to stop the vibrations and noise. This was only occurring when the unit went into high stage heating full blower speed. As for the master bedroom wing. Heat and air flow is present at supplier vents when the system is operating. I believe the fact that the equipment is located on the left side of the home causes the rooms closest to the equipment to get slightly better airflow than the rooms furthest from the equipment. Operating the fan in the on position to continually circulate air. Things at home should help balance the temperature. Also made adjustments at the thermostat for second stage heating. Left a used thermostat just read temperature off of dresser in master bedroom to see temperature difference chose the top of the dresser so that it would be at about 5 foot in the middle of the room and not close to a window.
Single system cooling maintenance. Replaced 20 x 20 x 5 filter. Filter typically needs and gets replaced every visit.. Cleared and treated condensate. Drain line and pump with chlorinated tablets. Inspected electrical connections and components. Inspected refrigerant level. Cleaned outdoor condensing coil. System is operating properly.
When I arrive nobody was there. Office call customer got no answer.
Waited 30 minutes for a customer. Called customer left message no answer. Heading to next service call.
Put up missing supply and return grills. Unit ready for start up.
Did trim out. Need a return grill 14 x 14 return grill two of them 6 x 14 supply grill floor 6 x 14.
Perform inspection and maintenance on one basement heat pump unit and one outdoor condensing unit. Treated drain line and condensation pump, and changed filter. Inspected operation of emergency heat strips and blower amperage. Inspected outdoor condensing fan motor amperage, capacitor, and Freon level. All measurements taken are within specifications. The system is functioning normally at this time Also checked the 20x20x5
I performed a cooling maintenance on a single heat pump air handler I replaced the 20x20x5 filter I checked all electrical components and checked the temp drop and cleaned the drain line and I checked the Freon levels and checked the capacitor and cleaned the outside unit everything is in good working order at this time.
During today’s visit, found low refrigerant levels in the system. I found the leak in the evaporator coil for the system. Customer authorized at this time to top off the refrigerant. The system took about 8 pounds of 407. The customer requests a quote from comfort specialist on equipment replacement. Sent email to service regarding the customers wishes. We will be reaching out to the customer to schedule an appointment with our comfort specialist.
