Performed precision a/c tune up on older Carrier r-22 heat pump. Replaced 20x20x1 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Found burnt and pitted contactor on outdoor heatpump, recommended replacing contactor. Checked temperature split at air handler. Tested capacitors inside and out. Found a lot of bacterial growth in the air handler, recommended installing a uv air purifier for better indoor air quality . Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. Called owner of Rita’s to talk to customer about renewing the maintenance plan, he is going to look over the info. Heat pump system is working at time of inspection.
