I was very impressed with Shawn Rudolph. He was extremely polite, considerate, and a very thorough technician. We enjoyed having him around! I can rarely say that about anyone!🤣
This was the second time Luis was sent out to assist us. Separate issues each time. Both times he did an excellent job and quickly got us back up and running. Very knowledgeable and professional.
We received great service on our air-conditioned by an experienced professional. We were notified by the serviceman that he was on his way, and we even received a photo of him on my phone, so we knew who to expect. He did a great job.
Fast and great service! Arrived right away and resolved issue without hesitation!
He was extremely thorough and was very polite. He is neat with his work
Luis was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I definitely would recommend Dibiase for both the front office service and response (they got a technician out within one day) as well the professionalism and knowledge of the technician Luis.
Reviewed home and concerns with customer. Customer had another company install a Coleman unit in the attic as part of the addition. It is a 18000 btu/hr unit. Unit for main house is 3.5 tons and ducts to 2nd floor was disconnected and ductwork to basement was installed. Recommend energy analysis with blower door on the home, air sealing rim joists, cleaning up insulation that was trampled on in the attic space. Also recommend load calc on space to ensure the units are not oversized for the building. Also recommend performing service on the units and ensure the thermostats are setup properly.
* Perform blower door test and measure results. Calculate the Building Airflow Standard for the home and compare with the target. Complete an additional test out with the blower door after the work is performed. * Remove the flooring in the attic area and relocate most of the plywood to the garage area ceiling so storage can be relocated to above garage, * Block off area around angled ceiling in the front of the home from the attic space to ensure no blown in insulation gets back into the cavity. * Build a dam around the pull down stairs and around the drop to the garage ceiling to hold back the insulation to the spaces we are adding insulation in the attic. * Move the existing insulation in the main attic space and air seal all top plates and any penetrations from the attic space to the second floor with single part spray foam. * Install new baffles onto existing roof line to ensure attic is properly ventilated and there is no blockage of the soffit areas. Inspected equipment and found outdoor unit locked out on high pressure trip. Wiring was not connected to original high pressure switch so this can not be explained. Only manual reset high pressure switch is in the circuit. Reset unit and tested operation, measured system charge. Could not get my gage on discharge port as threads may be damaged. Talked to David about just replacing the unit with a new system- possibly Trane 15 seer unit.
Reevaluated thermostat it was disconnected from Wi-Fi when we got here. Started checking statuses of the network rebooted. The thermostat in the Wi-Fi control box. Signal went from three bars to two. Also assigned room sensor to be used with the thermostat was connected, but never assigned. If it comes back in next step is to replace thermostat.
Reviewed job and collected information to perform load calculations on building for replacement.
