Performed QA on Goodman Air Handler and AC installation. Reviewed installation with homeowner. Tested system in heating mode and took temperature splits. Tested the EZ trap safety and tested the condensation pump. Completed checklist form in system. Corrected any issues that were found during visit. *This is an install we should go back for the Six Month Inspection once it’s warmer outside to verify the refrigerant charge. Lineset is longer and runs through the crawl space.*

Performed QA on Trane Gas Furnace/AC system. Upon arrival homeowner informed me that the system was blowing the fuse and also the drain line had clogged several times. Checked over all wiring on system. Began testing wiring but did not have enough fuses and did not have the Fuse Popper Tool. After Kurt arrived was able to find that the thermostat was bad. We installed the T4 during the install but after we left they reinstalled there own thermostat. Installed the T4 thermostat and programmed. Put system into operation and tested in heating and cooling. Performed combustion testing and tested the vent motor pressure switch safety. Blew through the condensate line and poured several bottles of water through the drain to make sure it was draining. Reviewed thermostat operation with the tenant. Completed checklist form in system.

Performed Quality Assurance on Amana AC/Coil Installation. Reviewed installation with homeowner. Completed Checklist form in system. Replaced the 20x25x1 Air Filter which was very dirty. This install passed the QA Inspection: Indoor and outdoor unit looked nice. AC was level, wiring was clean and secure, everything was sealed. Only note is to remind the Installers to check the Air Filters on systems. The Air Filter was very dirty and should have been replaced. Overall, the guys did a nice job.

Performed quality assurance inspection on both first and second floor systems amana gas furnace and a/c systems. (1) of the zone dampers in attic area is temporarily always open to provide air to that zone. Also need to bring a switch cover when we return for second floor system switch box. Both systems are working fine at time of quality assurance inspection. Homeowner would like the damper replaced as soon as possible.

Performed cooling maintenance on second floor air conditioner, replaced air filter. Checked condensate drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge, found unit low on charge. Recommend replacing system due to age and R22 refrigerant. Dan wants to wait and see how it does.

Checked no heat complaint, found room temperature at 73, turned furnace on, furnace instantly started and ran, checked air filter new, checked blower and run capacitor ok. Checked flame sensor it’s an obsolete mercury sensor and spark ignition. Cleaned pilot burner and sensor. Cycled furnace can not get furnace to fail. Recommend replacing furnace and air conditioner, system is 45 years old and parts are becoming obsolete and furnace will not be repairable.
