Found recently install damper not connected on Honeywell panel
Perform 6 month inspection on 2 recently installed amana gas furnace. Replaced one 16x24x1 filter. Check temperature rise on furnace and performed combustion test. Also installed new damper for 3rd floor. Both systems working great at 6 month inspection.
Performed Quality Assurance on Amana AC/Coil Installation. Reviewed installation with homeowner. Completed Checklist form in system. Replaced the 20x25x1 Air Filter which was very dirty. This install passed the QA Inspection: Indoor and outdoor unit looked nice. AC was level, wiring was clean and secure, everything was sealed. Only note is to remind the Installers to check the Air Filters on systems. The Air Filter was very dirty and should have been replaced. Overall, the guys did a nice job.
Reclaimed and removed old ac and coil. Installed a new ADP coil on top of existing furnace and taped. copper lines brAzed and leak checked with nitro and bubbles. Ran new vinyl to discharge pipe. New condensate drain with an ez trap and pump wire into system. Made a supply plenum and taped all possible air leaks. Tested unit in ac and checked for condensate leaks tested condensate pump and collected balance.
Checked no cooling complaint, checked air filter ok. Blower is running. Checked outdoor unit. Found open run capacitor. Replaced run capacitor. Started air conditioner, found compressor running at 72 amps and is grinding from inside the compressor. Cycled off and compressor will not start again. Recommend replacing air conditioner.
Performed quality assurance inspection on both first and second floor systems amana gas furnace and a/c systems. (1) of the zone dampers in attic area is temporarily always open to provide air to that zone. Also need to bring a switch cover when we return for second floor system switch box. Both systems are working fine at time of quality assurance inspection. Homeowner would like the damper replaced as soon as possible.
Reclaimed and removed old equipment. Installed new leveled pad, disconnect, whip, and Amana condenser. Flushed lineset. Brazed in line set with nitrogen. Connected high volt and low volt connections and sealed holes. Installed new Amana gas furnace and evaporator coil and brazed in line set with nitrogen. Pressure tested to 300 and evacuated down to 115 microns. Reconnected return , plenum, and sealed all connections. Installed new switch and receptacle and wired in high volt. Installed new ez trap and condensate pump and wired safety’s to break r. Reconnected gas line and leak checked. Installed new vinyl to discharge. Reconnected venting. Tested system in heat and adjusted gas pressures and performed combustion test. Tested system in cool and adjusted refrigerant charge. Tested condensate pump. System working great at time of install. Reclaimed and removed old equipment.relocated existing zone dampers to attic. Installed new leveled pad, disconnect, whip, and Amana condenser. Fl
Performed Quality Assurance on system. Reviewed installation with homeowner. Checked operation of system. Replaced 14x25x1 Air Filter. Checked refrigerant charge and added 8 oz of refrigerant. Tested safety devices and cycled system. Homeowner said that one time the system was set to cooling but it did not come on. Checked system and found no issues at this time. Need to email customer the T6 Wifi Thermostat operating manual.
Performed cooling maintenance on second floor air conditioner, replaced air filter. Checked condensate drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge, found unit low on charge. Recommend replacing system due to age and R22 refrigerant. Dan wants to wait and see how it does.
Checked no heat complaint, found room temperature at 73, turned furnace on, furnace instantly started and ran, checked air filter new, checked blower and run capacitor ok. Checked flame sensor it’s an obsolete mercury sensor and spark ignition. Cleaned pilot burner and sensor. Cycled furnace can not get furnace to fail. Recommend replacing furnace and air conditioner, system is 45 years old and parts are becoming obsolete and furnace will not be repairable.
Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Lennox Gas Furnace System. Replaced 20x25x4 Air Filter provided by homeowner. Inspected electrical components on system. Tested Blower Motor Capacitor which is measuring below its rating. Inspected Burners, Flame Sensor, and Ignitor. Hot Surface Ignitor is worn and parts of the material of the Ignitor are starting to peel. Would recommend replacement of the Hot Surface Ignitor and Blower Motor Capacitor. The burners are firing but are starting to rust and corrode due to the Propane fuel. Also noted that the Bearings on the Inducer Motor are wearing and making a rubbing/vibrating noise when the motor is running. Due to overall condition, and the refrigerant issue with the AC would replacement of the entire system is recommended. Spoke with customer about recommended repairs and overall condition of the system. They would like to hold off on repairs and look into replacement of the system before next spring.
Reclaimed and removed old equipment. Installed new Amana condenser on new leveled pad. Installed new disconnect, whip, and flushed lineset. Brazed in with nitrogen. Installed new unico high velocity system in secondary drain pan elevated on snow feet and brazed in with nitrogen. Pressure tested to 300 psi and evacuated down to 248 microns. Reconnected return duct and sealed. Installed ez trap and wet switch and wired to break r. Installed new t6 thermostat. Installed disconnect and wired in high volt. Tested system and adjusted charge for lineset. System working fine at time of install.
Performed cooling maintenance, checked air filter. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values ok. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge, found low on charge. Topped off charge and balanced by superheat. Checked operation and temperature drop across coil.
Performed Quality Assurance on recently installed Amana Gas Furnace. Replaced 20x25x1 Air Filter. Completed checklist form in system. Reviewed installation with homeowner upon completion.
Supported coil and removed old furnace. Replaced with Amana high efficiency gas furnace. Reconnected return drop and sealed. Installed new condensate pump and lines. Ran vinyl to discharge line. Reconnected gas line and installed new pressure switch and leak checked. Reconnected electric and added a receptacle. Reconnected low volt wiring. Reconnected venting. Turned system on and tested all functions. System working well at time of service.
