Tech Paul, Arrived promptly, and was very knowledgeable. After a through inspection, trying to find the issue, he determined all my system needed was a good cleaning. I was so impressed with the amount of time he took that I signed a maintenance contract. Lastly, I should add I’m a new customer!
Luis came out and went beyond the minimum and did additional insulation and and reconfigurations of essential elements of the system. Thank You.
They did a great job troubleshooting for possible future problems
Routine check but all went well, as expected.
Great job. Personable and enthused professional.
Returned to site to replace OEM Lennox Control Board for system. Turned power off to unit and disconnected and removed existing Control Board. Installed new Lennox Control Board and reconnected all wiring connections. Set Dipswitch settings for Fan Delay. Put system back into operation and tested operation. Cycled system multiple times to ensure it was firing properly. Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on system. The 16x25x1 Air Filter was just changed. Cleaned Furnace Drain Lines and Inducer Tubing Lines. Tested Electrical Components on Furnace. Tested Resistance on the Ignitor and measured 2.7 Microamps on the Flame Sensor when system was in operation. Performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace and measured Air Temperature readings. Rust is forming on burners but burners are lighting and firing with no delay. Did note while testing system that the thermostat display was off by 1 degree when it would shut the system down. The thermostat appears to be responding normally when tempera
Service call that the Gas Furnace was not running. Upon arrival found Heat turned off at thermostat. Proceeded to furnace in basement and the Inducer Motor was running with no call for heat. Inspected Control Board and found burn spot on Board. Tapped on relays and inducer motor shut off. Cycled system and unit began running. Performed Combustion Test on system. Replaced the 16x25x1 Air Filter. Inspected Burners which are starting to rust, but are firing off properly. Burners may need to be removed and cleaned or replaced at some point. System is currently operating but due to the burn damage and the intermittent issue with the furnace, the Control Board will need to be replaced. Will call Lennox tomorrow to get pricing and availability for the Board and follow up with customer.
Reclaimed and removed old equipment. Installed new leveled pad, disconnect, whip, line set, and Amana condenser. Brazed in line set with nitrogen. Connected high volt and low volt connections and sealed holes. Installed new Amana gas furnace and evaporator coil and brazed in line set with nitrogen. Pressure tested to 300 and evacuated down to 115 microns. Reconnected return , plenum, and sealed all connections. Installed new switch and receptacle and wired in high volt. Installed new ez trap and wired safety to break r. Reconnected gas line and leak checked. Installed new condensate pipe. Reconnected venting. Tested system in heat and adjusted gas pressures and performed combustion test. Added lineset charge and Tested system in cool.System working great at time of install.
Performed precision het tune up. Verified operation of thermostat and cycling of furnace. 50 degree temp rise. Inducer capacitor 5 MFD. Gas pressure low fire 6 In W.C. All motors pulling amps within specs. Condensate pump operating and in good condition. Combustion analysis proved good. Replaced Aprilaire 413 air filter. Heating system operating well at the time of this tune up.
Performed oil boiler tune up, check electrical low and high ok cleaned heat exchanger and flue pipe, replace nozzle and pump strainer, check spin off filter, check oil flow ok, cleaned cad cell and test transformer, transformer is about 70% of life, check draft, performed smoke and combustion test cycle boiler ok, check water pressure and temp lower the temperature n aquastat from 200 to 180
Performed gas heat tune up check electrical low and high ok, replaced filter, clean sensor and check burners, burners are in bad shape, lot of rust, also front part of heat exchanger is rusted showed pictures to customer, igniter is weak, heat exchanger is getting very weak at this time did not see anything major where system needs to be turned off but did recommend to customer replacement of system, performed combustion test cycle furnace ok emailed proposal to customer for repairs and also system replacement option
Tank is currently empty. Boiler does both the heat and hot water. No outside entrance. Thru the house to remove and reinstall. Copper fill and vent. Fill and vent piping go under the ground at least a foot down. 275 gallon tank currently. Fill is 1 1/4 and vent is 1 inch. Stuff everywhere in the house. Stuff would have to be moved just to get to the tank. Does not want to do an outside tank. Would be better to install outside due to stuff everywhere. Would recommend bidding a 240 gallon tank. Can probably get tank out whole if railing removed from stairs. Email quote to: Brian (Son) - Briandlarkins@gmail.com
Found heat pump system completely installed incorrectly. Outdoor heat pump is a York, indoor air handler is a Goodman. Duct work is done incorrectly at air handler. System was solder in with regular solder and flux for water piping. System would completely need to be re- installed and possibly there is solder loose inside refrigerant lines.
Performed precision oil tune up on peerless oil boiler. Replaced rf-1 oil filter. Replaced.75x80b nozzle . Found electrodes are warn and need replaced, also threading on oil assembly threading is stripping out. Called office and had nozzle assembly ran out to job. Also brushed and vacuumed heat exchanger and smoke pipe. Performed combustion analysis. Oil boiler is working fine at time of service.
Performed Quality Assurance inspection on a newly installed gas furnace and air conditioning system. Looked over entire system. No air leaks. No gas leaks. No condensate leaks. All penetrations sealed and wiring proper and secure. Outdoor unit a little off level and also the service record missing. Corrected issues while here.
Return visit to cleared intake pipe and replace blower 40 cap
Reclaimed old refrigerate and unit. Installed new American standard gas furnace in same location. Installed new American standard coil on top. Adapted all duct work as needed. Taped and sealed all duct, adapted to gas lines adapted to pvc flue. Ran new copper lines and installed ac unit onto new wall brackets and pad. Installed a new disconnect box and electrical wiring to unit. Tested unit in all modes. Installed an ez trap and wired it into unit. Installed a new electrical box and outlet.
Performed gas heat tune up check electrical Low and high ok filter ok cleaned sensor and check burners ok noticed unit keeps going off there is a restriction ok intake informed customer about about situation, tried to cleared blockage, would recommend coming back to blow intake line to make sure nothing is left behind, also found blower cap reading below rating emailed proposal for recommendations
Checked no cooling complaint on second floor air conditioner, found no blower, checked furnace, found furnace control board with no heart beat checked for power ok, checked 24 volts ok, checked fuse ok. Furnace control board has failed. Installed a Trane board until we can get correct board. Started air conditioner, breaker tripped as soon as contactor closed. Checked for shorts and grounds, found grounded compressor. Checked capacitor found open. Also the disconnect is damaged. Need to replace furnace control board and air conditioner.
Performed ac tune up check electrical low and high ok replace filter, check temp split ok, test pump and flushed drain ok outdoor unit refrigerant pressures ok capacitor and contactor ok cycle unit ok
