08JUN2021 Jason B System not cooling well. Arrived and spoke with homeowner about the systems performance. Cycled the system on in cooling at the thermostat. Found the compressor to be hot and not coming on. Cooled it off with a water hose then engaged the disconnect. It still did not come on, added a hard start kit and re-engaged the disconnect. System came on and is cooling. Shut off power to the system a 3rd time and the compressor didn’t work. Buttoned up the system and cycled it at the thermostat then the compressor kicked in. We will schedule a senior tech out to discuss repairs or replacement. As of now the system is running. I’m leaving the hard start on the system free of charge.
