Arrived for recently installed ductwork not cooling well. Spoke with Nancy about the systems performance. After the ductwork was installed the airflow at the kitchen and living has stopped. Checked for airflow at registers. Kitchen is working well, however the airflow at the living room vents is very low. Pulled return box to access ductwork. Crawled the run that leads to both rooms. Looks to be a 12x10x10 wye to a 10x8x8 wye to an 8x6x6 wye. Without redoing all of the ductwork there’s not a practical way to adjust the airflow. Spoke with homeowner about the findings. We decided to get a quote for a mini split.
