Came out to call for a system not cooling properly. Customer stated we were out yesterday to do a repair on the system and it worked until this morning. Then it stopped working again. I checked system over and found it freezing up due to the blower motor not operating. I checked blower motor and blower capacitor and found the blower capacitor to be bad. Made homeowner aware of the repair needed and also recommended more attic ventilation to keep heat levels manageable in the attic during the summer. It was easily over 140 and they unit was already under stress to cool the home back down after fixing it the first time. Apologized to customer for us not doing a quick check over the rest of the system, and discounted today’s repair because of having to come back out. Replaced the blower capacitor and cycled system on to check operation. Checked amps, temperatures and pressures of condenser, as well as the amps on the blower motor.
