I arrived for a previous customer no cool call. I inspected the same system I serviced last time I was out. I inspected the system and found that the system will run but the refrigerant charge is low. I made this aware to the homeowner and suggested to preform a leak search to see where it is leaking from and what it outage to fix this issue. We decided to just add what refrigerant the system needs at this time. I added 3.12 pounds of R22. This is 2/3rds of what the system holds. I explained the decline leak search and that there is no warranty on the refrigerant. We discussed the red club plan and that if we signed up on the plan that there would be a 15% savings on the refrigerant at this time. The homeowner wanted to wait and purchase the plan before they replace the system to get a discount on the system.
