23JAN2024 Jason Brown Arrived for new customer service call. Spoke with homeowner about their systems performance. It’s working well, the home was built in 2018. We’re hearing a humming noise intermittently. The rooms stay cooler or hotter than the living room, however that is not something I’d like to address at this time. Inspected furnace, coil, plenums, ductwork, and all electrical components. Disconnect power to furnace. Remove blower motor and inspect heat exchanger. Reinstall blower and check filter and coil. Test capacitors and look over board for damage. Cycle equipment into heating. Check gas pressure, inducer, pressure switch and heat rise. Check burners and crossover for normal operation. Match airflow with chart in manual. Found blower motor leaking oil, return ductwork undersized for equipment, and no surge protection installed.
