I arrived for a blue member ac pm. I spoke with the homeowner and found that they replaced their own condenser fan motor and they are worried about the noise it’s making. I inspect the work done to the condenser and found the condenser fan motor to be running at 1.6 amps and the motor started that it can run between 1.5-2.0 amps. The motor is noisy while it’s running. I found the motor to be extremely hot to the touch and the bearings do not have any play from side to side at this time. I also found that the fan blade was installed to low on the shaft and it’s so close to the condenser coil that it has nicked the condenser piping in the condenser. I strongly recommend for a experienced technician to replace the condenser fan motor. If the condition coil gets damaged and looses its chart he repair cost can be extensive due to the system using R-22 refrigerant and the task to repair the system. I also found the full to be running with no filter at this time. I cut a 20X30X1 filter
