Silver Club summer AC service. Customer had our old 24v Germicidal lamp system that had given issues of blowing 24v fuse while connected to system, while it was still under warranty. Today we will upgrade the system to our replacement 24v whole house system. Inspected air handler voltage, evaporator coil and drain pan. Drain pan was keeping water at the blower end of the pan due to the pull from the blower unit, so I shimmed up the pan to slope the water back towards the drain. I cleaned the drain pan and air handler cabinet surfaces from microbial growth and retrofitted the new lamp to fit in the old lamp spot. Tested and verified proper voltage and function of the new lamp. The new lamp system has a 2 year warranty on the bulb, but does not have a labor warranty on it, since the warranty time since the old system was purchased has expired. If any work is done for this unit while under parts warranty, we will have to charge for the labor involved. Inspected dryer vent and sealed it p
