I arrived to inspect two systems for replacement. I first inspected the upstairs system and found the return duct to be undersized for the upstairs system and I found the line set to be undersized for this system as well. I recommend to put a return plenum on this system and to attach the return duct to the return plenum. This will allow the new system to bring more return air in so we can blow more supply air out more effectively. I also found this same issue with the downstairs system. I recommend to increase the return duct to help decrease the systems run time and increase the systems efficiency. When you replace both systems with us you will be getting a 20% bonus with us due to have both systems replaced and you being a US veteran. Both systems will have a 10 year labor warranty and a 1 year parts warranty. All duct work that we install will have a lifetime warranty on the duct.
