Came out to call for a furnace not heating properly. Customer stated that the furnace was making a loud humming noise and when he opened the furnace, he noticed a motor wasn’t spinning. He hand spun it and got it to work temporarily, but it was starting to go out again. I checked furnace over and found the inducer motor was over amping, and the bearings were weak. I discussed with customer about repair needed, and also about replacement. Furnace is 17 years old and has some significant wear internally. Customer wanted to make repair now and replace the system at a later date. I picked up inducer motor and came back to install it. Took out old inducer motor assembly and installed new one. Replaced pressure switch with the one that came with the new motor. After installing the motor, I cleaned the flame sensor and brushed dust off the burners. Cycled furnace on and checked operation. Furnace is has a little blow back due to the flue not being properly connected. Customer wanted to leav
