Kianoosh M out for spring AC non club tune up on 2007 RUUD split system. Spoke with homeowner and filters were just changed. Checked attic insulation, ductwork, flue, dryer vent, blower, blower capacitor, drains and evap coil. Washed outdoor condenser of built up fibers and hair. Checked dual capacitor, contactor and cycled system on. Checked refrigerant pressures, fan and compressor, and temp split outside. The temps are cooler today but pressures seem okay. The blower wheel is dirty and could use a cleaning, the fan motor is reading out of range at 1.2/.8 amps. It does look like insulation was added since our last service. I spoke with homeowner about repair options and they are going to have their home warranty company look at the invoice to see what work is covered through them. I also talked about having Isaac come out for future services.
