Today I had the pleasure of conducting maintenance on an 8 year old Carrier system. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated the system has been working fine. I started by replacing the filter and verifying system cleanliness and found the ducts dirty and in need of cleaning. I then verified all amps temps and pressures. I found the condenser unit capacitor out of manufacturer specifications. I discussed my findings with the homeowners who contacted his daughter to approve the repair. She contacted the office and granted permission and would like the office to collect payment. I replaced the capacitor and reverified system operations. All conditions normal at time of departure.
