Today I had the pleasure of conducting maintenance on two 3 year old Comfort Maker systems. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated the system has been working fine. I started by replacing the filters and verifying system cleanliness and found the system in pristine condition. I then verified all amps temps and pressures. I found both compressors with high inrush (LRA) which is the amount of amps it takes to start the compressor. I discussed my findings with the homeowners and recommended adding a hard start to each unit to help combat the high inrush. They respectfully declined at this moment. All conditions normal at time of departure.
