I arrived for a non member no cool call. I first inspected the system and found the evaporator coil to be frozen over. I defrosted the ice with the furniture and charge the evaporator coil and found it oil on the front of the coil. I made the homeowner aware of the issue and we decide to charge the system at this time and see how the system is operates. I clean the conditioner coils and add refrigerant to the system and set the subcooling at 7.8 deg. The systems calls for 8 deg subcooling. We decide to side up on a red maintenance plan to keep the system clean in in good runs condition at this time.
