02AUG2022 Jason B arrived for thermocouple replacement, I was here recently to light pilot so I am waiving the diagnostic fee. Spoke with tenants about the last time I was out. It didn’t last 24 hours until it went out. The gas company confirmed it was the thermocouple. Shut off gas, disconnect thermocouple, and burner plate. Pull burner plate remove existing thermocouple. Install new thermocouple. Open gas line and light pilot. Reset temperature. While lighting the pilot I found the high limit switch tripped. Recommend setting the temperature a little under Very High to prevent the tank from going out on high limit. Showed tenant location of switch.
