Today I had the pleasure of conducting maintenance on a 4 year old Carrier systems. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated that system had been running fine. I started by verifying system cleanliness and found some dust and minor debris in the ducts from the sheet rock when the home was built. I then verified all amps temps and pressures. I found the compressor inrush (LRA) out of manufacturer specifications. It is not to exceed 109 amps but I read it at 127.1 amps. I discussed my findings with the homeowner who would like to discuss with her husband. All conditions otherwise normal at this time.
